c. Telephone number;
d. Payment details;
e. Voice sample (for voice-overs);
f. Curriculum vitae (for voice-overs).
I process this special category of personal data
a. Copy of passport;
b. Photograph, which may reveal special categories of personal data.
How do I obtain your personal data?
I have obtained the above personal data from you directly or from public registers, such as the Chamber of Commerce’s trade register or other open sources.
3. Purposes
I process your personal data for the following reasons
I process your personal data only where permitted by law and for the purposes described below.
Voice-overs
When you start working with me as a voice-over artist, I process your personal data. Firstly, I naturally process your voice, which you use to record or have recorded audio clips.
In addition, I process your name, a copy of your passport and billing details, so that I can enter into a contract with you and pay your fee. I retain this data for up to 8 years after the end of my contract with you, in order to comply with my legal obligations. I will keep the audio clips recorded during the term of the agreement in my archive for 20 years. Any data that is no longer necessary after the end of my agreement with you will be deleted by me as soon as possible.
If we have agreed that I represent you exclusively, I will, with your consent, create an online profile for you, enabling clients to find you. I will include your name, a portfolio of audio clips and, if applicable, a portrait photograph and your curriculum vitae. This profile will remain online for as long as you work with me. When our collaboration ends, I will remove your details from my website.
Quotes and clients
You are welcome to request a quotation from me without obligation. To draw this up, I will need all your contact details, which I hope to be able to include on an invoice at a later date. Even if you or the company you work for do not become a client of mine, I will retain the details for up to 8 years after our last point of contact, so that I can account for my work to the tax authorities. I also like to keep the data for my own quotation management and to analyse which quotations I have provided.
When you become a client, I will enter into an agreement with you or the company you work for. I therefore process the necessary (contact) details to be able to fulfil the agreement, send invoices and verify payments. I retain this data for up to 8 years after the last point of contact or the last invoice (whichever is later). This is because I have a legal obligation to retain invoices and related records for this period.
Contact form or email
You can contact me by phone or by sending an email. I then have a legitimate interest in processing the data I have obtained from you in this way. I process the content of the message, your name and email address for the purpose of responding to your message. I retain this communication for a maximum of 20 years.
4. Disclosure
Recipients of personal data
I share your data with the following parties, including my data processors:
• Administrative office;
• External email solution;
• External cloud storage;

When you start working with me as a voice-over artist, I will also share your name and the audio files with my clients who purchase them.
I have entered into a data processing agreement with my data processors. I have obliged the data processors I engage to respect the confidentiality of your data.
Transfer to third countries
I try to process personal data within the EEA as much as possible, but sometimes I have no choice but to use services from outside the EEA. These companies are based in a country designated as adequate by the European Commission.
If they are not based in an adequate country, appropriate safeguards have been put in place or binding corporate rules have been established. I have usually used the EU model clauses. You can request a copy of these by sending me an email.

Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. If you object to the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes, I will no longer use your personal data for that purpose.
Data portability
You have the right to receive your personal data from me in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, so that you can transfer it to another party, provided you have given me consent to process your data and the processing has been carried out by automated means.
Withdrawing consent
If I have obtained your data for a specific purpose based on your consent, you may withdraw this consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing prior to withdrawal.
Complaints
Do you have any complaints about how I handle your personal data? You have the right to submit your complaints to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
